Take the Seastreak to the Hamptons

Love the Hamptons, hate the commute?

Dread the Long Island Expressway no more because starting summer 2015, Hampton Jitney has partnered with SeaStreak Ferry to provide city dwellers with a relaxing alternative to sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the LIE for hours.

Manhattanites can board the high-speed Seastreak catamaran on E. 35th street to Port Jefferson on the Long Island Sound where passengers can transfer to a Hampton Jitney bus which will drop them at their chosen destination. Travel times to the East End will still be substantial but you can’t beat spending the first leg of the trip on a roomy ferry equipped with WiFi and a full bar for that pre-weekend cocktail.

Travel times run about 2 breezy hours from Manhattan to Port Jefferson. Depending on destination about another hour 30 minutes to the final stop East Hampton.

Kids under 2 ride free, bikes are $10 each. Departure times are limited, advanced credit card reservations are required. For schedules and reservations see click here SeaJitney or call (631)283.4600
